Cherry Street is located in Midtown and is home to three designated historic districts, including Swan Lake, North Maple Ridge and Yorktown. This area also features a number of art galleries, shops and old homes in nearby residential areas.

Some of Tulsa’s biggest and most prestigious mansions are located in the Maple Ridge Historic District, which is located south of Midtown. In particular, the area of “Black Gold Row” is where the city’s oil barons built their massive mansions in the 1920s.

Terwilleger Heights features homes built in the 1930s. Although some of the homes in this area are quite grand, there are plenty of smaller homes here, as well. Southern Hills is another exclusive Tulsa neighborhood that is centered around Southern Hills Country Club. Many of the homes here are ranch style homes.
