Cash Rebate FAQ's

Q: So what's the catch?

A: There's no catch. There are no fees from you, the buyer, for our services to represent you as a buyer's agent.

Q: Is there a limit to how much you will rebate a buyer?

A: Discuss the details with your Realtor. Typically, if a house sells for $5,000,000 the buyer will get a $100,000 cash rebate (with VIP Realty receiving 3%)

Q: Who pays you?

A: The seller pays us for finding a buyer for the property. Our payment is in the form of a commission based on the final sale price of the property. The commission is usually split equally between the Listing Agent and the Selling Agent. We in turn give a portion of our commission back to the buyer.

Q: How are you able to give me such a large cash rebate?

A: Simply put, we know you'd rather have a real estate rebate over a houseplant.

Q: Will you still negotiate the price down?

A: Absolutely, we will negotiate the best possible price and terms on your behalf.

Q: Why don't most companies offer buyer rebates?

A: A large majority of agents only have a few transactions a year, so giving a rebate is completely out of the question.

Q: What areas do you serve?

A: We currently serve the Dallas, Collin, Tarrant and Denton counties. However, we have relationships with companies throughout the state of Texas.

Q: What if the property is for sale by owner?

A: We are able to provide a rebate to our buyers only in the cases where the seller is offering a commission to the real estate agent. However, most FSBO will usually pay the 3% buyer agent commission.  Rebate Schedule...click here
