VIP Realty Listing AgentsAn experienced seller’s agent is a hot commodity in today’s competitive real estate market. In short, if you want to sell your home for top dollar in the least amount of time you must seek the assistance of a seller’s agent who has plenty of experience selling homes in the Dallas-Fort Worth area; and here’s why:

An experienced realtor will understand the importance of the Internet.

With the vast majority of buyers heading to the Internet to start their home search, finding a realtor who can get your home in front of the vast majority of sellers is very important. When searching for a seller’s agent, ask potential realtors about their Internet presence. If a real estate agent – and the company for which they work – does not have a solid Internet presence and/or doesn’t understand the importance of being front and center on the Internet, it may be best to move on.

An experienced realtor will understand the importance of marketing.

Just because your home is on the multi-list doesn’t mean your realtor’s covered all of his or her bases when it comes to marketing your home. Ask potential realtors about their marketing strategy and what they will use to adequately market your home so that it will be in front of the greatest number of home buyers. An agent without a strong marketing strategy probably isn’t the agent you want to hire to sell your home.

An experienced realtor will guide you through the process.

Even if you’ve sold a home before, the selling process can be nonetheless quite overwhelming and daunting. As such, make sure your hire a seller’s agent who has extensive experience, as well as the time and patience to impart this knowledge upon you when selling your home. Simply understanding the home selling process will allow you to make the best decisions from start to finish.

Overall, the importance of an experienced seller’s agent can never be underestimated, so take the time to find an agent who best understands the opportunities and challenges in today’s real estate market. Posted by Richard Soto on

Being licensed since 1980, I agree with the fdnginis. Women tend to be more schmoozy (is that a word?)and in higher value real estate, the wife is apt to have more power in the decision process. Often in the high ranges the husband is very busy tending whatever he does to pull in greater income and doesn't have the time to be worked by a real estate agent regardless of the agents gender. And on the other side of the coin, when the male owner is successful and more powerful than just Joe Seller, he tends to be taken in more by a good looking woman than a male agent. Sexist? Say what you want but YOU ALL know its true. Women own this world they just dont use their real power and take it all from us, lol.Women own this profession. They are generally warmer toward buyers and sellers. They have an easier time establishing a trusting relationship with clients.
