Avalon Place Real Estate Listings

Dr. William Thomas Dickey set up the Inner Loop neighborhood of Avalon Place in the 1880s. River Oaks borders this alluring and sheltered subdivision real estate. The construction of Addicks dam and reservoir down the river in 1945 controlled flooding of this lowland. Avalon place is also referred as an extension of River Oaks. The subdivision location is between Wertheimer, San Filipe, Dickey Place and Bell Meade. Here are some features of this real estate subdivision.

Avalon Place Homes for Sale

Most homes in this community are traditional or Mediterranean-style single-family homes. They were constructed between 1928 and 2016. Construction of new homes is infrequent as most of the two-story homes are still well maintained. This has limited the availability of subdivision homes for sale. The homes size range around 3,000 square feet on medium sized 9,300 square feet lots. Retail and Entertainment This fancy subdivision real estate neighborhood is near Downtown and the Galleria.
